For our first road-trip we headed down to Ladson, SC for the Black Food Truck Festival, a family event featuring some of the best food in the Charleston region.
Featuring over 40+ black owned food vendors, a live band, 3 DJs, a kid’s zone, a hookah and cigar lounge… this event did not disappoint! The food was amazing; from seafood, Jamaican food, to vegan desserts, plus more, the options were endless. Then there was the Trap Jazz Band who kept us on our feet the entire time.
I definitely suggest clearing your schedule when this one comes back around or you can just ride with us. Rumor has it, the next one is in April.
“The Black Food Truck Festival is a family-oriented event featuring the finest food trucks in the region in Charleston, South Carolina. Our mission is to make an economic and social impact on the community by showcasing and investing in area Black-owned businesses.”
